# Auto End time settings

Set the time threshold for Auto End.

* Setup > Custom Setting > Click Manage ​

* Click Edit

* Enter a value in Chat\_After\_Time > Click Save
* Chat\_After\_Time is measured in hours.\
  If you enter 1, Chat Sessions that have been in progress for more than one hour will be automatically ended.
