Create messenger and channel record

Create records to link messenger customer information with customer information in your Salesforce org and to manage messenger channels.

Messengers

Link customer information from each messenger to an Account, Contact, or Lead record.

• [App Launcher] > Enter 'Messengers' > [Messengers] > [New]

• Enter the fields used to link customer information from each messenger to an Account, Contact, or Lead, and then click [Save].

  • Refer to the following fields when configuring the mapping.

    • KakaoTalk : Phone

Channels

Create a record to manage messenger channels.

• [App Launcher] > Enter 'Channels' > [Channels] > [New].

• Enter information such as the channel key provided when the messenger channel is created and the Messenger record to be associated with that channel key, and then click [Save].
