Kakao Sync is a free service provided by Kakao that enables users to sign up quickly through the Kakao login and signup flow without complicated registration procedures.

Apply for Kakao Sync

• Log in to Kakao Business. (https://business.kakao.com)

• [My Business] > [Kakao Sync] > [Register Contact]. Register a contact person.

  • This contact information will be used to provide support if issues occur during the Kakao Sync setup process.

  • This contact information will be used to provide support if issues occur during the Kakao Sync setup process.

• [Application for Personal Information Items] > Review the application method and click [Next].

  • This selection cannot be changed after it has been made.

  • Select [Independent mall not belonging to hosting company] if you develop and operate the website yourself.

  • Select [If you are using a hosting company] if your website is operated through a hosting provider.

  • For the demo environment, select [Independent mall not belonging to hosting company].

• Complete the following fields and click [Apply]:

  • Reason for collection

  • Service membership registration link URL

  • Materials that can be checked for required items on the membership sign-up page on the site

    • Service membership registration link URL : Enter the URL of your website's membership registration page.

    • Materials that can be checked for required items on the membership sign-up page on the site : Upload a screenshot of the page where users enter their registration information. The following information must be displayed on the registration page:

      • Name

      • Email

      • Mobile Number

After completing the Kakao Sync setup, send the KakaoTalk Channel Search ID to Windmillsoft so that your channel can be registered on the Windmillsoft server.

SimplyChat cannot be used until the channel is registered on the Windmillsoft server.
